10 reasons to move to Ealing

1. Ealing Studios

60 years ago Ealing was home to the best in British (possibly the world) film making, with classics such as The Lady Killers and The Man in the White Suit made here. Most of the big film studios have long since left, but the creative vibe has stayed, along with a whole load of prop makers. Find out more about Ealing's golden years here

2. Parks

Our favourites are Walpole and Lammas, but there is also Pitshanger, Brent Lodge, Southall, not to mention all the tree lined streets. You could almost forget you are so close to The City.

3. Coffee

We can't get through the day without a morning pick-me-up from our new neighbours Artisan Coffee. But did you know they also do home-brew masterclasses? Check them out here

4. Location

Ealing Broadway provides national rail services out of London for a cheeky weekend in the countryside. And town is just a half hour trip on the central line.

5. Shopping

Obviously there’s The Broadway and Uxbridge Road but for a really lovely local shopping trip try Pitshanger Lane and the lovely shops on Bond Street.

6. Festivals

Every September Gunnersbury park is host to London Mela festival, a celebration of all things South Asian. There is also a comedy festival, a jazz festival a blues festival and a beer festival and a whole load more. Check out ealingsummerfestivals.com for the full programme.

7. The Arts

Open Arts Ealing

Open Ealing host a variety of arts and cultural events across the area including exhibitions and performances. They also work with arts practitioners, encouraging their professional development and creating an arts community.

8. The Food...

These are a few of our favourite spots: Bills for brunch, The Warpole Café for lunch, Santamari for fresh baked pizza, Momo for fantastic Japenese food, Maggie’s for burgers, Jubraj for a late night curry

9. And The Pubs

If you’re looking for a proper night out try: The Ealing Club, The Drapers Arms or Drayton Court. For good food, a friendly atmosphere and nice outside space try: The Ealing Park Tavern, The Haven Arms and The Fox.

10. The Architecture

Inspired by what Ealing has to offer? We have just completed work, restoring this beautiful Arts and Crafts property on Elers Road with views across Lammas Park.
